Final Fantasy 4 Advance Cave of Trials Speed 1/Active Level 30s.
1The Cave of Trials is a cave that only exist in the GBA and PSP version. It was designed to give the party members that were originally temporary overpowered equipment. These weapons and armors are not better than the ones you find in Lunar Ruins, but they will make the Lunar Subterrane easier. Only Palom, Porom, Edward, Cid and Yang can equip them. I usually skip this cave because Palom and Porom don't really need it. They can beat the Lunar Subterrane without it. The cave does helps Edward though. Palom was given three Silver Apples. +150 HP.
Flan Master (Palom)
This is the second hardest boss in this cave. Thundaga will one shot the non Cave of Trial characters (Cecil, Kain and Edge) while Flare will kill anyone. Thundaga has a low chance of killing Palom and Porom with their Cave of Trial armor equipped. The flans will regenerate when you kill all four of them. I try to use Edge's flame to get rid of the white ones. Bluff will increase the damage of Quake. Quake and Edge's Ninjustu will bypass reflect because they both auto target all enemies.
6:26 T-Rex (Porom)
Easy boss if you're using Rosa because she learns float at level 35. Porom learns it at level 40. It's still easy without float because Earthquake is not that strong. It will counter the three elemental magic so using Quake is best.
11:50 Gaias Worm (Edward)
I only attacked with Palom because this Worm will counter attack every time it gets hit. Hide behind blink and let Palom's high damage do all the work.
17:52 Death Mech (Cid)
This is the easiest boss. He doesn't attack often. A disgrace to the Deathmask type enemies.
21:30 Storm Dragon (Yang)
This is the hardest one in this cave. The Dragon is weak to Ice. The boss will attack with a strong tornado that deals 2000 damage. This version of tornado is blue magic which can attack every character, unlike the Black Magic version. Blue Magic damage is tied to HP so one hit with Blizzaga will reduce the damage of tornado. This will help Cecil and Kain survive the hit. When the dragon is almost dead it will stop using the Blue Magic tornado and use other attacks.
