Pros:
✅ story mode’s graphics look incredible, from the cinemas taken from the recent remake to the recreated overworld and battles
✅ remastered music is just awesome
✅ bite sized gameplay format makes it easy to play for either a few minutes or a few hours
Cons:
❌ difficulty for last FF7 story mission ramps up A LOT. Makes upgrading absolutely necessary.
❌ makes me want a full FF7 remaster in this exact format
❌ typical mobile game microtransaction bull****
Verdict:
👍🔥 If you loved the original FF7 you have to play this. It’s an incredible remaster of the first section of the game with absolutely gorgeous graphics and music. And it costs nothing to get through the first story mode that has FF7. I really wish SE would make a complete remake of FF7 in this graphic style.
While I’m not sure if the entire game is worth sticking with, it doesn’t really matter. If you get bored just stop playing it. But definitely try it.
