Final Fantasy VII (Lowest Turn Count) Ep. 14 - Bottomswell
11Prior to this video, I got Yuffie in 2 turns. The video corrupt and I now only have half a video without an ending, so I'm just going to skip it. I wasn't sure if Yuffie was worth getting now, or if I should wait until I can get her in 0 turns. As long as I can break even with the 2 extra turns, I deem it worth it. She will flee in 10 turns, so poison isn't enough. I also had to mix in a Cross-Slash.

Once leaving Midgar and reaching Kalm, I sell off all of the ethers I've got saved up as well as the Peacemaker that can be found in Kalm. I need to make sure I've got enough gil for later. I also need to stock up on Hypers and Tranquilizers. I never know when I will need them.
The first thing I wanted to test is if Poison = Elemental in the weapon would let your limit breaks poison. The answer is no. It does not. That's fine, good to know. One thing important to note is Bottomswell will NEVER use bubble if there's only one character alive. This is different from Reno and his Pyramids. It's a good thing for us!
The actual strategy wasn't what I was expecting to do. I thought it would be better to use 1 character use poison and then heal when i need to. This took me 3 turns. But it turns out, I can just win in 1 turn with the entire party alive. Having Yuffie seems to have helped here because she has so much HP to start with. Also I get the Force Stealer for Cloud after this.
