We've reached the point where Grenades are no longer the king of damage. Cross Slash with the Hardedge is going to best for a while, so we want that to do as much of the work as possible. After the Rufus fight, I want to make sure to fill Cloud's Limit before I talk to Tifa.

The set up for the fight is important. Cloud needs to do all of the work, so the other 2 characters are dead weight. Thus Cloud is set up with Fire = Elemental in his armor, Cure and then Cover and Steal for the stats. During the Bike Game, I let the bikes kill off Aeris and Tifa.

From here the fight follows a pattern. I get 2 Limit Breaks before I need to heal. At least until it runs out of MP. I needed to heal 3 times throughout the entire fight. If you watch carefully I got a really nice Critical Limit. I said I wasn't going to grind these out, but I would keep them if I got them naturally. This saves me 1 turn overall. It might have actually saved me 1 more turn of healing too, I'm not 100% sure, but I believe this is the case.

As you can see, stealing the hardedge for an extra Turn saved me a lot of turns in the long run. It would have taken 18 Grenades and probably 1 heal otherwise.
