After some cutscenes after resting, we have some time to run around before moving on. There's quests to do and new Queen's Blood players to fight, which is mainly what I do for this part.

I talked about Cloud and Red already, but haven't talked about the other party member's playstyles.

Tifa is all about that DPS. She can buff herself to higher Chi levels with Unbridled Strength, up to 2 times. Doing this increases her stats and gives her access to a new, highly damaging Triangle attack. These Triangle attacks also increase enemy Stagger rating. Well, to fully grasp what that means, I need to explain it more. Basically, every enemy has a Stagger gauge that needs to get filled up for them to be staggered. When staggered, they display a Stagger rating of 1.60x. What this means is that all damage dealt to them is 1.60 times stronger (or 60% stronger). Tifa's Triangle attacks can increase that multiplier when used on an enemy while they're staggered, which means all subsequent attacks will hit even harder. There are other Weapon Abilities that can increase enemy Stagger rating but no one else has it built into their moveset like Tifa does. She's also very fast, having the fastest dodge in the game and the quickest attacks. Magic is so-so however, and very short range being a fist-fighter.

Aerith is sort of the complete opposite of Tifa, focusing entirely on magic. Since magic can do so much, it means Aerith can do a lot to, but she'll be the best at doing anything magic related due to her ridiculously high magic attack. She can have high DPS with high tier magic and heal a lot, with a large MP pool so she can use them the most. However, her normal attack is fairly weak (but is ranged) and her defensive stats are all terrible. Her dodge is also the second slowest in the game, after Barret. If she gets pressured, she can get overwhelmed easily and has to rely on allies to keep the heat off of her. But if she can set up her Wards, then she can get some serious damage rolling out. Her Wards are most of her Weapon Abilities, able to do things like allow her to cast magic twice in a row, enhance her normal attack speed and damage, create a shield she can hide behind, buff ATB gauge, etc. But she has to stay standing IN the Ward for any of that to take effect so you have to position her well.

Barret is a long range fighter and the tankiest party member. His HP is high and he learns abilities to strengthen his defense and increase his HP even higher while taking blows for allies. His damage output is pretty good with Overcharge, his Triangle attack, not costing anything and just being on a cooldown (which he can speed up if he has nothing else to do). He has plenty of damage dealing abilities and can hit pretty much anything from anywhere. His MP pool is the smallest and he's not great at magic, but he can toss a heal or two. Very reliable and easy to use.
