In this part we FINALLY get my favorite character in the party. Yuffie is just an absolute bundle of joy in this game and I love having her around. I try to give the party equal use, but around this point, I start using Yuffie as much as possible.

Yuffie retains her playstyle from her DLC from the first game. Which means she's basically like having a second main character around, because like Cloud, she can pretty much handle any situation. She's got a collection of incredibly useful skills, particularly her ability to change her element to whatever one she wants so she can always exploit an enemy's weakness. She can fight with physical attacks at close range with her shuriken or stab it into an enemy and fight from a distance with magic. Her abilities give her access to an evade that's very useful to avoid otherwise difficult to avoid attacks, if you can time it right, and recovers ATB from a successful dodge. She gains other moves like AoE attacks and can later on make a doppelganger clone of herself which mimics all her actions, giving her more potency to everything she does. For example, the clone Yuffie will attack with her and add on a little extra damage, or if she heals, then the clone will also cast the heal spell and let her heal a little more than usual.

Now, as we leave Costa del Sol, more quests appear so I spend this part doing those. So there's not too much gameplay of actually using Yuffie yet. But you'll see plenty of that in this playthrough.
