1Balthier proposes creating a stir by spreading the news that Basch is still alive. This should catch the attention of the Resistance groups funded by the Marquis. Go around town proclaiming Captain Basch’s survival to get noticed, then arrange a meeting with the Marquis.
After this let's hunt the Cluckatrice in Giza Plains (Dry). First, talk to Dania in Nomad Village, then take the southeast exit. To make the Cluckatrice appear, clear out all the creatures in the Gizas North Bank area. Leave, then return to the area, and the Cluckatrice will show up. Make sure to have plenty of Gold Needle items and healing supplies, as this enemy can turn your party members to stone, which can be tough to deal with.
