Shown here is the benchmark run for the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn. As expected from any upcoming recent MMORPG, this game seems to be more CPU intensive than anything else. Surprisingly, the Closed Beta client performs a bit better than this benchmark. At any rate, this should give people a feel for how well this game will run on a low-end to mid-end machine.

These series of videos will be solely dedicated to benchmarking the most popular PC game titles and 3D applications currently available. So long as a game or 3D application has a stand-alone Benchmarking tool, I will capture as much footage from different games and apps as possible.

If there are any other stand-alone benchmarks that you think I should try, let me know and I might try it out and upload a run here.
