A video featuring matches against most of the current NPCs in the Black Shroud as of Patch 2.51. I say most since you can't challenge the last one until my Ixal beast tribe reputation is maxed.

Thus it is subject to change in future patches. Do note this was near the release of the patch and the NPCs cards might get nerfed supposedly.

Same and Plus were the regional rules for the first two matches, then All open and Same for the rest. This rules actually made things harder since these NPCs aren't so bad...until they can use such rules against you to land combos you didn't see coming. The regional rules change and vary so you may get lucky or unlucky with them.

0:31-Mother Miounne at New Gridania X:11 Y:11. Regional rules for her were Same and Plus. Her match rule is Three Open. She's not hard normally actually. She drops Goobbue and of course her own card, Mother Miounne. I don't recommend farming her though you'll get tons of Mother Miounnes from Gold Booster Packs. So many you'll be sick of seeing them. Also note for newer players she may not challenge you until you've progressed further into your main story.

1:49-Maisenta at New Gridania X:11, Y:11. Same and Plus were regional rules. All Open is her match rule. Not a hard opponent she's good for beginners. I just didn't enjoy the regional rules I had this time was the only thing. She drops Coblyn and Sylph.

3:16-Landenel at South Shroud X:16 Y:28. His match rules are Random and Fallen Ace. Fallen Ace means a 1 can beat an A on a card so even Aces can be taken! This guy is a dirty cheat typically lol. However I got lucky as you'll see and beat him first try. Which is odd this NPC usually gives me a ton of trouble. He drops Titan and Odin. Most say you're better off farming Odin in Urth's Fount and I think they're correct.

5:11-Buscarron at South Shroud X:17,Y:20. All Open and Same were the regional rules. Order is his Match Rule, forcing you to play cards in the order you've lined them up in your deck. He is trouble and has a pretty strong deck so bring your best and maybe save him for last. He drops Raya-O-Senna & A-Ruhn-Senna and Papalymo & Yda.

6:30-Marcette at Central Shroud X:15, Y:18. All Open and Same were the Regional Rules. Chaos is her Match Rule. She will only challenge you from 4:00 pm to 8:00 am ET Eorzean Time. She drops Frixio and Garuda.

7:51-Piralnaut at East Shroud X:17, Y:26 Regional Rule was Same. Match Rule is Three Open. Only is able to be challenged from From 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm ET Eorzean Time. Drops Succubus and Frixio.

9:07-Vorsaile Heuloix at New Gridania X:9 Y:11. Only is available for challenge From 10:00 pm to 3:00 am ET ET Eorzean Time. Match rule is Ascension so I brought my Beast Tribe deck. Drops Papalymo & Yda,Ramuh and Kan-E-Senna.

So well that concludes these videos until we see more NPCs or until my beast tribe rep is maxed lol in which case I'll just do a small video for the last guy.
