Previously, the party began exploring Crestholm Channels. They located Sylvester's Map Piece D for "Scraps of Mystery IV" and the Enhanced Headlights for "The Ever Illustrious Regalia". They reached the bottom of the main shaft and fought a mini-boss, the Nagarani. Now, they will finish exploring this dungeon.

Resuming from the area with elemental deposit canisters, they begin climbing up a bit. Be wary; Bussemands can steal things from the party.

In a western room, the party can find a Mythril Shaft (time 2:04).

In the shaft, they reach a ladder to climb up a level (time 2:26). After crossing a narrow pipe, they can find the southeast room, where four switches are depicted. Three of the switches are disabled since the party has hit three control panels so far. Only one remains to hit, and they will soon find it.

Also in the southeast room, the party finds a Blood Sword (time 5:30).

Continuing their ascent, the party goes upstairs another floor (time 6:34). Look out for the disgusting Black Flan, which is strong to everything except light.

In the northern room, the party finds the Auto-changer (time 8:30). This accessory for Noctis produces a warp decoy and automatically switches arms after an attack.

Back at the shaft, the party climbs another ladder (time 9:11). They arrive on the first floor.

Near the top of the ladder, they find the fourth and final control panel they need to operate (time 9:34). This unlocks the door a few levels down. Also, the party can open the nearby door to create a shortcut. This is a good excuse to resurface, rest, and save, if you need to. But if you do, the enemies may respawn.

The party goes back downstairs. A door is now open (time 11:09). Continuing downstairs, the party finds the dungeon's boss, Jormungand. Beware its rain of fiery death. It is weak to swords and ice. It is also susceptible to poison.

In time, the party defeats Jormungand (time 15:32). "Crestholm Channels" complete! The party earns 8,000 EXP apiece. Unfortunately, the massive snake was not guarding a royal tomb.

At the northern end of the battlefield, a ladder leads down even farther (time 16:24). Another locked door awaits (time 17:08).

Afterwards, the party backtracks out of Crestholm Channels. Eventually, they take the ladder up to the surface (time 21:01).

At the Regalia, the party starts driving west to Hammerhead (time 22:31). They soon pull into Hammerhead (time 23:48).

When they arrive, they report in to Cindy (time 24:36). "The Ever Illustrious Regalia" complete! The party earns 3,000 EXP apiece. This concludes Cindy's main quest line to improve the Regalia.

The party talks to Cindy again (time 25:52). They waste no time installing the Enhanced Headlights.

Then, the party fast-travels to Cape Caem (time 28:53).

At the garden, they harvest three Caem Carrots (time 30:19). Talking to Tony, they exchange four Caem Carrots for a weapon (time 30:41). They acquire a Valiant, a firearm.

At the lighthouse, they talk to Cid (time 31:40). "A Better Auto Crossbow" complete! The party earns 2,000 EXP apiece and the Auto Crossbow Plus. "A Better Circular Saw" complete! The party earns 2,000 EXP apiece and the Circular Saw Plus.

Then, Cid issues the sidequest "A Better Valiant" (time 32:06). He needs an Earth Gemstone to upgrade the Valiant. The party goes ahead and hands over the Earth Gemstone and the Valiant so Cid can get upgrading.

At the house, the party rests until morning (time 34:22). Prompto reaches Photography Level 10, Self-Timer. The player earns the trophy "Photo Expert" for reaching Prompto's maximum Photography Level.

Upgrading the Engine Blade III requires a Sturdy Helixhorn. One of the hunts in Old Lestallum will help with that. So, the party fast-travels to Old Lestallum (time 36:56).

At the Crow's Nest in Old Lestallum, the party talks to the tipster (time 37:42). They take on the Level 29 hunt "The Last Spiracorns". The targets are two Dualcorns and three Spiracorns in the Lower Wennath area. They are right across the bridge to the west of Old Lestallum.

The party sets out for "The Last Spiracorns" (time 38:54). No sooner do they set out, though, than Prompto issues the sidequest "Photo Op: Mascot". He wants to photograph the prince underneath Kenny Crow.

So, the party turns around and stops at Old Lestallum again (time 39:57).

They examine the photo spot near the gas station (time 40:17). Prompto does his thing. "Photo Op: Mascot" complete! The party earns 300 EXP apiece.
