Final Fantasy XV [PS4 PRO] Additional chapters Episode Ignis
0No matter if you like the game or not, Final Fantasy XV is a huge game. It might see barren at some points, but nonetheless it has a lot of content if you are the completionist type. One of the additional unlockable features are "Episodes" devoted to a specific member of Nocto's entourage. Thus, Royal Edition of the game adds three such episodes devoted respectively to Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto (each DLC can be purchased individually as well), with the last similar DLC being Episode Ardyn that is not included in the Royal Edition.
Episode Ignis presents events from Chapter 9 during the battle in the city of Altissia. In the main game, the party is separated and we only see the events directly connected to Noctis just to learn about the fate of others later on in the game. In this DLC though, we play as Ignis who, separated from his friends, tries to find Noctis. The player can also learn how Ignis actually lost his sight.
Although the DLC seems more "spacious" than Episode Gladiolus, probably thanks to the setting (open city rather than cave corridors), it is pretty short and apart from few gimmicks, it also feels pretty basic (that is not a bad thing). One of the features of this DLC is that you can also uncover an alternate ending once you finished it in the "legit" way. I'm not a fan of "replayable" content but will probably play through the whole thing again to keep my videos as thorough as possible.
