NOTE: The footage was recorded through the new function available on Steam Deck - game recording! I did not bother hooking my SD to a TV and a capture device. I just relaxed in the armchair and played the game in the resolution intended for Steam Deck. To avoid a complete loss of video quality due to YT compression, the footage was re-exported to 1440p with Handbrake. I know that it doesn't look gloriously good on a TV or a PC screen, but this is just to show how the game actually looks on a Steam Deck in the handheld mode and what can you get with the game recording feature.
NOTE 2: I might post more videos of this playthrough that might be of a different resolution. This is because sometimes I may be using the docked mode, so the recording will be automatically in FHD (but then still converted to 1440p with Handbrake).
NOTE 3: This is not the Steam version, it's from the installer downloaded directly from Giants but it runs on SD!
A long while ago, I wondered how on Earth people could even think playing a farming simulator is entertaining. Months passed and then Epic Games gave Farming Simulator 19 for free. I added it to my account and there it stayed unbothered for another several months. One evening, I decided to give it a go. It is then, when I discovered it also had forestry. It is then, when I discovered it had mods. It is then, when I discovered I love Farming Simulator :D
I love it so much that I decided to buy the Collector's Edition of the newest installment in the franchise - Farming Simulator 25. After few hours of tinkering, checking various settings, checking the performance on Steam Deck, on my PC, with the Saited Heavy Duty Driving Wheel and Side Panel and without it (I didn't manage to get it working on Steam Deck, neither the ignition switch added with the collector's edition). Then I decided to start the actual playthrough - Hutan Pantai, because the Asian map is the particular aspect I am most excited about and I can't wait to see the future Asian maps created by modders!
