In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Water Skull with a Fairytale focused strategy! Water is a fantastic skull, able to be used in any way you can imagine. He's fantastic at crit items, one of the most powerful swappers in the entire game, and 3 of his 4 skills are extremely powerful. Water Skull is easily one of the strongest skulls in the game, and playing with him gives that away when he's built competently. That said, today's archetype kinda ignores all of that, and that's Fairytale. Fairytale is a unique inscription tied around certain specialty items that when picked up summon a fairy companion that deals damage for you. When you have 5 items with the Fairytale inscription, Oberon shows up, a powerful spirit that behaves much like the fairies, but stronger. Within the Fairytale item pool is the Omen, Desair. When Desair is picked up you get a unique, stronger fairy but even more so it changes Oberon to be his dark form, affectionally called Omeron by a lot of the community. These runs are harder to come by than regular Oberon runs, so getting him makes things a little more interesting. So, that's today's run, Water Skull and Fairytale! Joined by Bomber, can these two with the power of Omeron backing them sweep through the end game gauntlet for another win?
