In this Skul the Hero Slayer video, I'll be using Frost Skull with an Omen focused strategy! Frost Skull, frankly, on a run like this doesn't matter all that much. Skull choice is important, but only in that you don't choose a bad swapper. Frost is a good swapper because he has his i-frame swap, which can provide invincibility to preserve Mercury Hearts at key moments. The main aspect to focus on for this run is the Omens, and what running Omen 3 and above takes. When running Omen 3+ runs you need to have a way to deal damage to enemies without having to directly engage with them. This is done best by Idol of the Forgotten, the Mutant Omen, but can also be done effectivelt with stuff like Veteran Hunter's Boots, Multidimensional Prism, Offensive Wheel, and other such items. From there it's a matter of making sure you avoid getting hit as much as possible so you can stack up enough Mercury Hearts to get you through to the end game after you no longer can earn Mercury Hearts. Another thing worth noting, something I take advantage of here, is the double kill glitch. Any time you kill an enemy with an item that deals additional damage (a rather specific and hard to describe distinction, just think Crit Items for the most part) you can double up on your Mercury Hearts per Dark Elite killed. So, that's today's run, Frost Skull and Omens! Joined by Thief, can these two wield the power of cursed darkness and come out on top?
