In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Davy Jones with an Ability Spam Items strategy! Davy Jones is an extremely powerful character, but a bit misunderstood. Davy has some valid criticisms, his flow of gameplay is a little weird compared to other characters. When he casts a skill it doesn't immediately do anything, but rather loads a cannonball that when Davy's basic attack is used launches that cannonball and casts the skill. Also, after loading three of these cannonballs it loads an enhanced version of the casted skill. This definitely takes some getting used to, but once you know how to properly use Davy he truly is a force to be reckoned with. He has some of the more powerful skills in the game, namely the enhanced version of Bombs Away, an enormous amount of damage. Davy Jones is famously misunderstood, including by myself in the past, but nowadays I highly value Davy and think he's a very powerful addition to the game.
