In this Skul the Hero Slayer video, I'll be using Arthur with a Dash Items focused strategy! King Arthur is a magic damaging speed skull who, sadly, is not in the best state as of 1.9.1. One of the skulls added from the DLC, Arthur despite being the most mythical of the figures from the batch of heroes, sadly is easily the weakest of them all, and one of the weakest skulls in the game. The main problem with Arthur is that he's another transformation skull where he has a passive meter that when fully built allows you to turn into his true form, but unlike many transformation characters he takes quite awhile to build up that meter, making you want to preserve it for special moments. Even further of an issue, his regular form is very underwhelming. The main thing that's positive about Arthur is when transformed you can press down+attack to unleash a humongous wave of energy that deals genuinely impressive damage, and the closer you use the energy blast to the natural end of his transformation the more damage it does. However, Arthur having one move in his arsenal that is impressive that's tied to the end of his transformation doesn't leave a big impression, so Arthur is in need of a buff in my opinion. That said, one cool thing that's unique about him is much like Pikeman, he has a Dash Attack while transformed, and this allows him to utilize items like Mane of the Beast King with the same ease and effectiveness Pikeman can, which is what today's build will be centered around. Dash Items as an archetype might not be the strongest, but it uniquely has a massive concentration of powerful items in the Rare item pool, which means you're able to find them often, making the archetype quite consistent. So, that's today's run, King Arthur and Dash Items! Joined by Slave, can these two DLC skulls join forces and show despite not being the strongest hitters that they too can take it to the end game gauntlet?
