Dark Paladin absolutely skyrocketed in viability after one of the more recent updates gave him enormous buffs. Mainly he now rather than generating 10 shield after filling his passive, he now generates 20. This doesn't seem too big a deal on the surface, but it's actually massive. Now he can more easily keep his shield maintained, and with the buffs the shield provides such as magic damage amp%, it's super worthwhile keeping it up. On top of that his skills also generate more energy, so not only can he keep his shield easier but if you lose it he can get new shield back up more reliably. With these changes Dark Paladin went from on the lower end of viability to now being among the best, easy S+. So, take one of the best and combine it with THE best archetype in the game, Crit Items, and you've got yourself a potentially crazy run. So, that's today's attempt, Dark Paladin and Crit Items!
