Fire Emblem 6 - The Binding Blade [Hard Mode] Chapter 21x - The Elder Revelation

Also known as "The Silencing Darkness" in the other fan-translation.
Chapter starts at 02:58 because there's many items to manage since we can't use them directly from the menu, because Hard Mode is dumb.
This chapter has the ever annoying fog of war and some nasty baddies lurking in it. Among them you face some dangerous Heroes (the first one on west side has a Brave Sword) and Snipers that will murder any unit on winged without a Delphi Shield.
You'll also find some Shamans totting Fenrir tomes (Rank A dark magic) and having something around 18 Mag makes them pretty dangerous to units with low Res. But don't get too happy about that because you WILL face a Druid with almost maxed Mag that are holding Fenrir too (some of them can hit up to 35+ on units with low Res).
This chapter also has traps. While the fire traps deal respectable damage, the spear traps are downright awkward, only units with less than 10 Def will take damage from them... So yeah, I have no idea why they're even there.
All in all my way to tackle this thing was to divide and conquer. I did some stupid things on the west wing and probably should've fielded a better group with less flying units since the Snipers halted my progress quite a bit, but, it worked out in the end.
The boss of this chapter is an asshole. Pereth/Peres is basically Theodore from Fire Emblem 7 except MUCH stronger and far more annoying since the throne bonuses along with weapons having Hit% down to the crapper makes hitting even him a daunting task.
If you don't have Rutger, Fir, or anyone with a REALLY good chance to Crit the boss killing him becomes a matter of endurance. Pereth/Peres has enough Mag and Skill to make that thing really accurate and the throne bonuses all but ensures that his Avoid will enough to become an issue to all but the most Skill blessed units.
Either you land a lucky critical and pray it kills the boss or you wear down his Nosferatu until it breaks, as far as I think this isn't too far-fetched if your luck with the RNG growths was abysmal - and again, growths of FE6 are notoriously fickle.
All this work to earn one of the most powerful tomes in Fire Emblem - Luna notwithstanding. Ever wanted to hit a Dragon for something like 60 upwards effin' damage? If you have a Druid with Rank S on Dark you'll be able to!
