Ghosts of Bern isn't a bad chapter and has some quirks here and there. Compared to the last two main chapters this thing is a breeze provided you take note of the ballisticians.
The main hindrance here are the three Snipers manning the ballsitae on the central islands: two Long Ballistas and a Killer Ballista. Sending someone with a Delphi Shield there (Zeiss and Milady due to their high Def) is usually a good idea provided their Def is high enough not to get annihilated by the other stuff nearby.
Like in Chapter 21 you fight a lot of Wyverns here, not in the same ridiculous numbers, but still nothing you can simply ignore. Some of the Wyvern Lords are carrying Killer weapons and they have enough Str and Skl to make that very lethal. The Wyvern Knights themselves can hurt quite a bit for regular units, so don't let anyone squishy get dogpiled on.
Now, the weirdest thing of this map are the units stationed close to Brenya/Brunja, for whatever reason they will move but won't attack unless they detect a possible kill. I have no idea why or if this is a glitch, but I always play safe since Brenya/Brunja's Bolting tome (of course she has one) hurts enough so the AI will go for the kill.
The three Druids over there also have Sleep and Berserk staves (2 Sleep, 1 Berserk) so be careful, if you have less than 3 people who can use Restores this might put your offensive on a halt until the Druids exhaust their ailment staves.
The boss of this map, Brenya/Brunja, is nothing to scoff at. She has almost maxed Mag and Def and very high Spd and her Res is basically maxed, her gear consist of Bolting and Fimbulvetr (which you cannot get in this game) and trying to fight her with magic is a big no-no here. In any case you shouldn't have a terrible time with her provided you clear out the map and have healers ready.
Lastly you can meet Karel here, but only Fir or Bartre can recruit him. If your units got absurdly mauled by the RNG you can use him to fight off Brenya/Brunja.
