Woah, a chapter that's both indoors and defeat boss!

Karin glitch-equips a steel bow, weakening pesky magic users enough to easily finish off.

The defeat boss condition does not help at all here. The boss has over 20 defense, and only receives 1 damage from physical attacks, so we have to wait for Lara and our newly recruited Azel to get to the throne anyway. Poor Karin can't counterattack the boss to death at a decent pace because magic cannot counter melee attacks. :(
