This run takes huge advantage of a programming error which allows units to equip any weapon. (Although normally unequippable weapons cannot be used to initiate attacks or with skills)

Leaf's initial sword has 150 accuracy, 8 power, and a +30 evade boost on top of its weapon triangle advantage over axe users, making Karin an invaluable unit and Halvan able to reliably hit the boss.

Stats from top to bottom are HP, SP (used for skills), Str, Def, Res, Skill (+3 accuracy), Speed (+2 avoid). 1 to up to 4 stats may be added per level-up. Since doubling is not determined by the speed stat in this game, HP, Str, and Def are focused on when leveling up while speed will almost never be increased.

The skill most used in this chapter is Alec's pursuit skill, which allows him to double attack (regardless of speed) similar to a legitimate Fire Emblem game. He is the only character with a skill starting off, but everyone will learn around 8 skills if they level up enough. Each skill has a certain cost to the character's SP (pursuit costs 3, for example), which recharges at only 1 per turn.
