First off, when get a greenish Ethlin as a cleric, yay! Except, not yay because she has only 4 move and only heals for 6. She's at least worth bringing along, I guess.

This chapter 5 run recycles a few previously used tricks, like having Alec equip a sword units to survive more axe hits and Karin equipping a bow to be able to efficiently take out ranged enemies.

The villagers give out a nice 15 mt, 140 hit tome, a bit of money, and a weak stat booster for me too sell. Not too shabby!

As you can see, Karin whiffs on the boss and dies when I'm trying to give her a little extra experience. No worries! Defeated characters return for the next chapter anyway.
