Emblem Heroes are quite the difficult spike even for today's standards for FEH. Powercreep really is something IS is absolutely very concerned about, huh?

Anyway, Emblem Ike's skillset is quite a simple one-trick pony: force the enemy to attack first, enduring their attacks with large amounts of damage reduction, and one-shot them back with a Great Aether nuke that they have virtually no chance to stop coming. So how does one do that in an Abyssal map solo, with much higher stats than the usual, and with only a single unit to do the whole job?

Well, there are two main weaknesses to Ike's skillset: the first is Scowl, which pulses his special charge back up the moment he attacks, which prevents his special from going off. But that is only available to dragon units. The second is the Hardy Bearing seal, which negates attack priority changing effects, which forces Ike to attack first on his turn, and thus not fully charging his special.

Flame Emperor's weapon can make the entire map essentially harmless just with her weapon alone, which means she can tailor her entire skillset to deal with Ike. Hardy Bearing is absolutely essential, as already mentioned, but the rest of the skills are just as important: Mystic Boost for sustenance, an AoE special to damage Ike, and just as important, Pulse Smoke so that his special count remains high, otherwise Laguz Friend's instant-charge effect would still eventually charge his special. Ike needs to have his health reduced enough so that his Quick Riposte seal, as well as his weapon, reduce his attack power significantly. And more than that, he MUST be at 1 HP before defeating the last remaining enemy on the map except Ike himself. That is beacuse Laguz Friend's damage reduction effect kicks in after the first attack, due to his lower special count, which would then prevent further damage. Once all that is properly set up, all that is needed to do is to let Ike attack one last time for the ultimate clutch win. Enjoy the clear!
