3Part 44a of my Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance let’s play | Kieran Wants YOU for Crimean Army!
In this episode we played through the base of Chapter 21 of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Without a King. We get to see 3 supports. The first is Mist and Boyd’s B rank support. They expand upon their last conversation and discuss how Boyd’s roughness toward Mist has helped her become stronger. Then we see Nephenee and Brom’s B rank support. They talk about how much of a change the Crimean army is from the ragtag militias they were each a part of before they were captured by the Daeins. The final support conversation is Kieran and Oscar’s B rank support. Just like the last support between them, Kieran tries to convince Oscar to rejoin the Crimean Army by calling upon his sense of loyalty and patriotism. Then we read the info conversations. In the first, Ike and Jill talk to 2 refugees from Talrega who don’t know they’re with the Crimean Army. In the second, Ike talks to Mist about her missing medallion. Then we manage people’s items and forge a new sword for Zihark. We finish by giving the Smite skill to Muarim and some bonus experience to Ike and Lethe. With that, we’re ready for the bulk of the chapter!
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Fire Emblem 9/FE9) is a tactical RPG developed by Intelligent Systems (a division of Nintendo) for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005. It is the ninth entry in the Fire Emblem series, a beloved Tactical RPG series known for its engaging gameplay, interesting characters, and support conversations. Common themes in the game are racism, the circumstances of one’s birth, and the consequences of war. Path of Radiance is one of the most sought after and expensive GameCube games, and so not many Fire Emblem fans have been able to experience it. So I want to share the game with the world!
Path of Radiance tells the story of Ike, a young Mercenary who lives in the Kingdom of Crimea. When the neighboring nation of Daein invades Crimea, Ike and his mercenary company are forced to evacuate Crimea. When they encounter the lost princess of Crimea, Elincia, their lives change forever. What ensues is a journey of reclaiming their homeland, and confronting a deadly evil.
