Byleth and his class enter the Holy Mausoleum, which is where the Goddess's Rite of Rebirth ritual is set to take place, and the security there is lacking compared to the other parts of the Monastery. Not only do we have to complete this map within 25 turns, but we encounter a powerful foe known as the Death Knight, and he is even more powerful than anyone we have fought up to now.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

This is the first chapter to have the Death Knight as an opponent, and this foe is way beyond our league. He is at the center of the map, and if you can defeat him, you will earn a Dark Seal, this will allow a unit to promote to a Dark Mage class, but only male units can go to this class, and there are a few male units that are good with magic attacks, like Hubert, Linhardt, and Lorenz, and Dark Mage is Hubert's canon class. Alternatively, if you have a unit in the Thief class, you can steal the Dark Seal from the Death Knight, and if you have a unit that has mastered the Monk class, you can use Draw Back to get them out of the Death Knight's sight.
If you are playing on Maddening, the Death Knight does move, but only if you are in his range, and there are some possible ways to defeat him, the most infamous way is having Lysithea learn Dark Spikes T, which she learns at B Rank in Reason, Hubert does also get Dark Spikes T, but he learns it much later than Lysithea, Hubert learns it at A Rank, Dark Spikes T deals bonus damage to Cavalry units. Another way is if you are playing on Blue Lions, if you have Knightkneeler on Dimitri, his Crest of Blaiddyd doubles the Attack and weapon uses for Combat Arts, but aside from that, you can just ignore the Death Knight, he is very powerful, but he does have a unique battle quote if you let Mercedes fight him, and if you are playing Black Eagles, he does have special dialogue if you let Edelgard fight him. The Death Knight has Counterattack, so if you try to attack him from a range, he will counter you. His weapon is the Scythe of Sariel, it is a powerful weapon, and the Death Knight can score critical hits very easily, and he has some very dangerous abilities, like Lancefaire, Murderous Intent, Poison Strike, and many others.
There are a bunch of Western Church Soldiers, so they must be the ones that worked for Lonato, and two of which have Chest Keys, one of them is an Archer, and another is a Dark Mage. There are two chests you can open, so unless you have Ashe on your team either by picking Blue Lions or have Ashe for your Mission Assistance for that month, his Lockpick Ability can open chests without the need of a key or being in the Thief class. One chest has an Intermediate Seal, and another has a Spirit Dust, which increases the Magic stat by 2 points.
At Turn 7, reinforcements will show up, those being three Mages, one of them is in the Dark Mage class, so I recommend bringing any unit that has good Resistance to deal with them.
At the end is a boss fight with a Mysterious Mage, and he is a Dark Mage with Miasma Δ, which is a spell associated with the Dark Mage class, and Heartseeker, where adjacent foes suffer -20 to Avoid during combat, and he does have a Battalion called Mysterious Magic Users at Level 3, and can use a Gambit called Resonant Flames, which has very wide range and inflicts magic damage. Unsealable Magic makes him immune to silence, and as I never went over Silence, Marianne learns this at B Rank in Faith, Claude can also get it at A Rank, but I don't recommend having Claude be a magic user, unless you are doing a weird class run, when silenced, this will prevent that unit from using any magic attacks.
While the Mysterious Mage is tough, he has very low Defense, so having some physical units can make quick work of him, but he does have a good Magic stat, so watch out for that.
With the Mysterious Mage down, we get a cutscene where Byleth receives a sword from the Tomb of Seiros, which he then later learns that it is known as the Sword of the Creator, this weapon was wielded by Nemesis, the King of Liberation, because in the opening cutscene, we do see Nemesis use that sword in his fight against Seiros. Then we go through some dialogue, including one with the Flame Emperor and a man who we have not encountered yet.
