The next quest Byleth receives from Rhea is to stop some thieves, who have stolen a Hero's Relic called the Lance of Ruin from House Gautier, and the leader of the thieves is Miklan, Sylvain's brother who had been disowned by House Gautier. Now that Byleth can wield the Sword of the Creator, he should be able to lead his class against the thieves.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

After completing Chapter 4, you will earn the Sword of the Creator, which allows Byleth to use a Combat Art called Ruptured Heaven, and if Byleth rests for the day, it will restore 5 durability. Byleth has the Crest of Flames, so that will restore HP equal to 30% of the damage dealt, and it rarely raises Mt and stops counterattacks. If any unit other than Byleth uses the Sword of the Creator, it will be treated like a normal sword and not have range.
Then we get introduced to Rodrigue, the leader of House Fraldarius, he is Felix's father and an old friend of Dimitri's father. Even if you do see Rodrigue in the Monastery, only in the Blue Lions route does he get an introduction scene.
Before exploring the Monastety, I usually like to take part in the Tournament at the Training Grounds, those give some good rewards if you can win all the rounds.
When you visit Hanneman in his office, he will identify Byleth's Crest of Flames, which was wielded by Nemesis a thousand years ago.
Then onto sidequests, the main one is to find Jeralt, and to begin that quest, you have to talk to Seteth. Then talk to Leonie, she is outside Jeralt's room, then you have to go to the Knight's Hall and talk to Catherine, she will tell you that Jeralt was spotted at the graveyard, go back to Seteth, and the graveyard will be open, and Jeralt is there. He will tell you about his wife, who died shortly after Byleth's birth, and he will show you a wedding ring, which becomes important later on.
There is some backstory behind Byleth's mother, which the Cindered Shadows DLC does go over, but I won't spoil too much about it.
For other sidequests, Flayn has one, and you have to pick up some sparkling items by the saints statues, and that will complete the quest and unlock Saint Statue Restoration, which will require Renown, which you can spend to restore the saint statues, unlocking growth bonuses, this can be a huge benefit to your units.
There are two battle quests, Seteth has one, and a Merchant at the marketplace has one, the Merchant's one is very important, because completing it allows you to buy items like bait, tea leaves, and gifts from the Merchants. Another quest unlocks the Blacksmith, you have to find Iron Wielding materials, report to the Blacksmith, and that will allow you to forge and repair weapons. The first week for that month is the best time to fish, because you do catch more than one fish on that day.
Rhea has two quests, one of which is where you can have a Tea Party with her, that does use up an Activity Point, and another where you have to give two students herbs to relieve their issues, the students are dependant on which house picked, I will list them.
Black Eagles: Linhardt and Bernadetta
Blue Lions: Ashe and Annette
Golden Deer: Ignatz and Marianne

When you have given the herbs, that will complete the quest.
Starting from this chapter, you can recruit Cyril, but you need Byleth to be at least Level 10 in order to recruit Cyril, so at least he is easier to recruit, and you cannot recruit him on Black Eagles.
There is a new person at the Monastery, his name is Gilbert, and one thing to note is that he can only have support conversations if you are playing on the Blue Lions Route, he is Annette's father, so if you talk to Annette after talking to Gilbert, she does have extra quotes, but only if you are playing the Blue Lions route or have Annette recruited. Gilbert is also our guide for this mission, like with Catherine in Chapter 3.
I will list which units Gilbert can support with.
Dimitri, Dedue, Ashe, Annette, Hanneman, Manuela, Alois, Catherine

This chapter has 9 lost items, I will list which characters have lost items:
Linhardt, Bernadetta, Petra, Felix, Sylvain, Ingrid, Ignatz, Lysithea, Cyril

Then I will go over which units have different quotes depending on the route, and almost all the Blue Lions students have different quotes, as this mission is about Sylvain's brother stealing a Hero's Relic, if you talk to Ashe, he has additional dialogue on the Blue Lions route. For units on their own routes, Linhardt and Lysithea have different quotes, and Hubert has extra dialogue if you are playing on Black Eagles.
