I used: Amoonguss, Talonflame, Magnezone, and Lapras
My Opponent used: Porygon-Z, Accelgor, Dragapult, and Primarina
Stadium: Standard
Battle BGM: Gym Leader

I did like my opponent's team, while most of them are Special attackers, I was surprised to see my opponent not use Charjabug, because I do remember that thing being good in Double Battles with its Battery Ability, which raises the Special Attack of teammates by 30%, but I don't know if Charjabug was ever used in top-tier VGC Tournaments, but it does have a unique Ability and a good user of the Eviolite with those defensive stats.
After seeing my opponent use Round with Accelgor and Porygon-Z, I see that team is themed around the move Round, because this move becomes more powerful if another Pokémon uses Round on that turn, and because my opponent's Shiny Accelgor has very high Speed, and Porygon-Z having Adaptability, that can make a very dangerous combo, and when two Pokémon use Round on that turn, that Pokémon will follow up regardless of the Speed stat, so at least I put my Amoonguss's Rage Powder to good use.
While Amoonguss was a very notable Pokémon in the VGC Tournaments, it did get Pollen Puff in this game, while it is a Bug-type move that deals damage, it can heal temmates, so this does give Amoonguss some extra support moves, while Spore and Rage Powder are its main moves.
I wasn't sure if my opponent's Primarina had Liquid Voice or not, because if this is a Round themed team, then it would have Liquid Voice, and that Sylveon would have had Pixilate for the Ability to make Round a Fairy-type move, and I did like how my opponent also used Dragapult, so at least both Accelgor and Dragapult are there to start the Round with their high Speed stat, while Porygon-Z, Primarina, and Sylveon are there to get in some heavy damage with their respective Abilities.
While I have seen Magnezone very frequently, and the ones I go up against would have the Iron Defense and Body Press combo, which can be very tough to take down if you don't have any Special Attackers that at least have a Fire or Ground-type move, this Magnezone has Ally Switch, I did do one fight where my opponent had a Rain team with a Gigantamax Lapras, and I used Ally Switch to take the Max Lightning that was meant to target my Lapras, and speaking of Lapras, my one can Gigantamax, and I didn't realize until this battle that my Lapras had Thunderbolt and not Thunder. She has Freeze-Dry as an option for dealing with Water-type moves, and while Thunderbolt or Thunder might not be best for coverage, as Freeze-Dry is already super effective against the types Electric is super effective again, it's more of an option for Max Lightning and setting up Electric Terrain, which would then give my Magnezone a huge boost with Thunderbolt, it was a tough decision whether or not to give Rising Voltage to Magnezone, but decided to go with Thunderbolt, as some of the new Tutor moves are more dependant on Terrain being set up.
