0We accept Claude's request and travel to Derdriu, which is under attack by Lord Arundel and the Imperial troops. As we get backup from Judith and the Alliance, there are a lot of Imperial troops, and stopping Arundel is not going to be that easy.

It is time to help out Claude and the Leicester Alliance, and he will be at the top right part of the map. Claude will be in his unique class of Barbarossa, it's like Wyvern Lord, but with a specialty in Bows, and in the description for Barbarossa, it is said to be a tradition to Almyra, which does hint that Claude could be from Almyra, and he is equipped with Failnaught and an Aurora Shield, so he should be able to hold his own in battle, but you must not let him be defeated.
There is a special reward if you let Judith survive this map, Judith is surrounded by Imperial Troops, so your top priority is to save Judith. She is a Lord equipped with a Rapier, and her Battalion is Daphnel Duelists, this Battalion is exclusively equipped to Judith, she has good Charm and Defense stats, but she has decent stats all around, but you will have to try and help her out, and she will advance towards Claude.
There is a War Master General guarding the path to Claude, and that would be Hilda if she was not recruited, and you get a special reward if Hilda survives this map as well as Judith. Hilda has the Hero's Relic of Freikugel and has Axe Crit +10, and she would be in the Warrior class. If she was recruited, then a War Master takes her place, and she is equipped with a Silver Axe, and it would be impossible to have a female War Master, as this is a male exclusive class, if that was possible, then that would be the best class for Catherine. I feel like that Priest should have been Marianne if she was not recruited in part 1, because Marianne never shows up in the timeskip on this route if you didn't recruit her.
The boss of this map is Volkhard von Arundel, he will be at the northernmost part of the map, he is a Dark Knight with Hades Ω, the ultimate dark magic spell, and Arundel does have a good Magic stat, so that can be very powerful. He has very high stats all around, and he has Pavise to decrease damage from physical weapons based on his Dexterity stat, which is good enough. Lord Arundel will start moving when you start approaching the northern part of the map, which Judith will most likely do once you rescue her.
For items you can obtain, a Mortal Savant will drop a Concoction, a Pegasus Knight has an Aurora Shield, a Paladin has the Axe of Zoltan, which has a bonus effect against Armored units, and another Paladin has a Magic Bow. You can steal some Silver Shields from a Fortress Knight and a Hero.
Every third turn, reinforcements start appearing, so unless you take down Arundel quickly, they will start overpowering the Alliance forces, and Lord Arundel does have unique battle dialogue if you let Dimitri fight him, and if you talk to Claude with either Byleth or Dimitri, he does increase support if Byleth talks to him, or any unit that can support with Claude, so that would be any Golden Deer unit.
After defeating Volkhard von Arundel, we go through some scenes, and Claude gives up on Failnaught and passes it down and leaves Fódlan. Failnaught is a Hero's Relic tied to the Crest of Riegan, and the only unit that has that Crest is Claude, so unfortunately, no unit on the Azure Moon route can benefit from Failnaught, because if it is given to a unit without a Crest, they will take 10 damage after combat, and a unit that has a Crest is a safe option, but will not be able to use a special Combat Art from Failnaught. If both Judith and Hilda survived at the end of the chapter, you get a Giant Shell and a Goddess Icon, if Hilda was recruited, only Judith has to survive this chapter to obtain those items.
Then with the Blue Lions units, Dimitri tells them the truth about his childhood with Edelgard, and then we get another scene with Edelgard and Hubert at the Imperial Capital of Enbarr, and after learning about Arundel's defeat, they set up their next plans, which is have the Death Knight guard Fort Merceus, and I did like how they talked about Arianrhod, because in Dimitri's paralogue, it took place at Arianrhod, and Hubert was fought there.
