First Gloomhaven Experience Was a Success, I Have No Idea How
201I was inspired by reddit stories videos I've seen on youtube, so I took a funny story from r/boardgames and decided to animate it. It's a beautiful journey of frat bros learning how to play board games, specifically Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion. Well, actually they started off with some gateway games like splendor and catan, but Gloomhaven is their first real deep dive into the tabletop hobby.
Never really done something like this before, but hey, board games on youtube don't really have animated storytime videos so I decided to change that. Holy moly did this take a lot of editing, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I really hope frat bros playing board games becomes more of a thing in the future beyond just cards against humanity lol.
