First Impressions On: Aliens: Thanatos Encounter

On this episode of First Impressions, a Colonial Marine ship returning from a training exercise is automatically diverted after receiving a distress signal. The source of the signal is a large cargo freighter, the Thanatos, which the Marine ship docks with. Then, our team of five marines have to head in one at a time to ascertain the situation. Unsurprisingly, the situation turns out to be "a shit ton of Xenomorphs are loose on the ship", so we need to clear out the bugs and rescue all the survivors (or at least all the ones that don't explode into Chestbursters on contact). Since the game is a top-down "twin-stick" style shooter designed for a handheld console that lacked any sticks, the controls are pretty awful.
