After my highly enjoyable play-through of The Ultimate DOOM a short while back, I returned to it to gather all secrets (on HMP difficulty) and as I type have completed all secrets (including secret levels) in Episodes 1-3 on UV difficulty. So I was itching to get stuck into the sequel on stream, and here it is!

So far, so enjoyable. Definitely a big step-up in difficulty from The Ultimate DOOM—I think after the first couple of maps in DOOM II, the difficulty level exceeds the easier Episode 4 maps in DOOM.

I'm definitely looking for secrets, with varying success across the maps. Somehow managed to miss 100% kills in MAP01...

Really enjoying the soundtrack of this release too; I'm using the Roland SC-55 music packs (see https://sc55.duke4.net/games.php#doom) so the MIDIs sound awesome.

As with The Ultimate DOOM, I'm playing on the Crispy Doom source port.
