Fist Puncher is a sidescrolling Beat'em up with a level up system.
The level up system is a bit of a weird choice, since you have multiple fighters from what you can choose from and also you unlock new fighters later on. They seem to have two level systems, one that you actively control, where the stats should increase and which perks you want to pick, but this is based on the fighter you play with at the moment. So normally later in the game a level 1 fighter should be heavily underpowered against the stronger enemies, but it isn't that case. This is why i think that all the fighters also get stronger by the number of levels you played. So that you can play a newly unlocked level 1 fighter and still be able to win the level.
I didn't know this when recording the video. After i ended the recording i still played the game further and noticed that the other fighters are strong enough, so don't get irritated why i wrote this, despite i was only playing with one and the same character.

What i dislike about the different fighters is, that they mostly play the same. You have your normal attack patterns, your ranged special skill, your roundhouse kick. They mostly look different and the stats might be a bit different, but the moveset seems to be identical between all the characters you can choose from.
