Whispers of a Machine is a Point and Click Adventure in an older style like Broken Sword. So you got the true color pixelised landscape and characters, but when you speak with the characters, you get bigger portraits, showing their faces. Your hero of the game is Vera Englund a Police Agent in a futuristic setting. So Vera comes with augmentation that helps her to solve the cases. Which is a Magnifier, strength and a nose for liars. Ok, the Magnifier is actually a scanner which you drag across the screen to scan people for their details and if important for their DNA. It also scans for some unusual details like special dirt under a boot. The strength augmentation so far was only used to force open a locker of the victim, but might also have other uses later and the nose for liars is actually a pulse scanner, where you can see if someone got a sudden spike, which imply that they did lie to you.

I played the game for around one hour, but it's sometimes hard to make a perfect cut, where it feels like a episode ended. So i made a cut after about 30 minutes. So sorry i couldn't solve the case in time :)
