Go Home Dinosaurs is a Tower Defense game, where you have to defend your BBQ from uninvited eaters, the dinosaurs. The game so far also got something of a puuzle game, since you only build a limited number of towers or skills for the levels. To use a skill or build a tower, you have to collect coconuts. So since you're dealing with limited resources, you can beat the level with the towers or skills you can equip, but maybe also have to restart a level, since you picked the wrong things for this level.
But even if you lose or don't finish the level with the best ranking, you still keep the gold coins you collected in the level. These coins are used to buy new types of skills and costumes for your grillmaster.
How does this work? Your Grillmaster is a gopher, that digs trough the ground and go to the position you clicked on. If there is a palmtree you get 1 coconut, which you need to build towers or to use your skills. If you're close to a dinosaur, he attacks the dinosaur by throwing stones.
So since he is your mobile tower, you often let him move back and forth, to collect coconuts and to attack t he dinosaurs.
So since this is a bit of a racewar and since your gopher and the squirrel attack by throwing stones, i don't think this is a fitting game for a too young kid. Despite the look of the game.
