Huh. It appears that I am back that the local Frazzle Bear Cheese Curd Restaurant.
Five nights at Freddy's 2 is the second video game in the Five nights at Freddy's franchise, it was a somewhat big success causing video games, merchandise, and lots of pop up scams claiming to have either a free copy of the game or saucy Toy Chica photos. Point is, game was big, and so I am here to explain the game. I will explain the Story, Mechanics, Gameplay loop, Graphics, and how old Toy Chica canonically is, because I scare me. Here is Five nights at Freddy's 2 Explained Poorly.
This game starts with a few mechanics, only a few because this game is not a lot of file size. (Is that good grammar? No? Okay.) The two mechanics that came from Five nights at Freddy's 1 are the Tablet monitor and the lights. There are 2 new mechanics, the mask and the music box. The mask is your primary safety net that keeps you from commuting self die. The music box keeps a marionet at bay. The lights allow you see in darker areas, even on the cameras. And the tablet monitor allows you to see the positioning of the antagonists and wind up the music box. There are 13 antagonists in the game. 3 toys, 1 bitch, 1 thing, 4 returning antagonists (of course withered down), 1 marionet, 1 silver foxy, and 2 burglars that I mentioned that you can hide from in Five nights at Freddy's 1. Most of them are similar, while unique. Withered Bonnie starts in Parts and Services, and moves towards the player, being in the hall then coming in through the left vent. Withered Chica is similar to Withered Bonnie but comes from the right vent and does not appear in the hall. Toy Bonnie will start at the show stage and make his way towards your office, not appearing in the hall and coming in through the right vent. Toy Chica is similar but she appears in the hall, comes in through the left vent and has a fan base that scares the shit out of me. Withered Freddy and Toy Freddy are very similar with different starting points, they both come in through the middle but Withered Freddy starts in Parts and Services and Toy Freddy starts on the show stage. The Marionet is a puppet like entity that is filled with rage after a brutal killer ended it's life at the back of the pizzeria it now is caged in, it is stopped by fuckin' grandfather's clock. Withered Foxy is stopped by you flashing him with a flash light, because being a little ass is okay. Mangle is a weird combination of Withered Chica and Withered Freddy in path finding but Toy Chica in defense. It's weird and that's my best explanation, wait a minute-
Silver Foxy is, again, unstoppable. The burglars have taken your hamburgers and you can't stop them. There is a lot of not being able to be stopped. It probably means nothing. You stop most of them by wearing your mask damn it!
The story, again, is very basic. You are a new person working the night shift at your local children's entertainment pizzeria. Only difference is that this is taking place in the late 80s and not early 80s. Similar to the previous entry the animatronic actors have a malicious side to them and will indeed attack you.

A rare chance, if you die you can play one of your old Atari games. Very wholesome. Again, there might be a penalty for quitting so fast so that's why you don't quit after night two. The telephone guide is still here to explain mechanics, one by one, night by night, eventually asking you why the fuck you're staying. It's okay to leave in this case as you're not supposed to be here.
Now that's some gaming graphics. Such a nice shine to everything, subtle details to changes in the environment. Freddy still looks goofy so 0/10 on graphics.
The gameplay loop is very simple, wind music box, put on the mask, eat your keyboard, then check the lights. If foxy is there flicker at him 3-7 times. Repeat.
