Fix Dread Hunger crash to desktop CTD, not launching, Fatal error, crashing & freezing on PC
Step 1) Restart Steam, let the update complete and then launch the game
Step 2) Restart Your PC
Step 3) Run Epic Games Launcher in the background, make sure it is updated to the latest version https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/download
Step 4) Disable Integrated Graphics card
Step 5) Run the game as an administrators
Step 6) Launch the game with DirectX 11:
-dx11
Step 7) Do a clean installation of graphics driver https://www.nvidia.in/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-in https://www.amd.com/en/support
Step 8) Allow the game exe file to your Antivirus program
Step 9) Laptop users with dual graphics card run the game on dedicated graphics card.
Step 10) Perform clean boot, turn off steam in game overlay, also close other overlay application, also disable Steam cloud save, do not overclock, close all the overclocking application, also close all the background application
Step 11) Verify the game files
Step 12) Install Visual C++ files: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
Step 13) Update Windows to the latest version
Step 14) Try window mode, lower down graphics settings
Step 15) Uninstall and reinstall the game to a different drive
