Steps to Fix LifeCam HD-3000 stopped Working on Windows 10
Step 1) Restart your computer.
Step 2) Close all the applications that utilize the camera are not using the camera or are closed including websites utilizing your camera.
Step 3) Make sure camera is allowed in Windows 10 privacy settings
Step 4) Re Register Your Camera
Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.WindowsCamera | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Step 5) Turn Off your antivirus program temporarily
Step 6) Update Camera Driver from Device Manager
Step 7) Uninstall camera driver and restart your PC
Step 8) Perform System restore
