FIX YOUR SAVE GAMES! - Replacing a dead cartridge battery
39After finding out that my Nintendo 64 Controller Pak stopped working, I decided it was time to breathe some new life into my old memory card.
These repair steps also work for replacing the battery in NES carts, SNES carts, some N64 carts, and basically anything that uses a battery to save your game :)
