Flintlock: Siege of Dawn is A Tragic Tale of Missed Opportunities
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is the latest endeavor from A44 Games, the minds behind the souls-like Ashen back in 2018, and here with Flintlock have tried to meld the third person action combat of something like God of War with the Souls-lite elements that many others have tried to emulate over the years. Flintlock feels like a messy, muddled and overall directionless experience, and whilst combat can provide windows of satisfaction it is continuously pulling you out of the fun, with an underwhelming story and a janky combat loop.
