I recently spent a few hours at the flooded Hubbard Mine with a two-man news crew from the local CBS news station. My previous visit to this interesting mine was over four years ago! The news crew is doing a story on another abandoned, flooded gold mine near the Hubbard Mine that was recently purchased by some investors. The news crew met up with me in order to get some footage inside the Hubbard Mine so that their viewers could see what a flooded mine might look like. Their news story with footage taken inside and outside the Hubbard Mine will air very soon on the local, nightly news. I will post their news report here once it airs, so stay tuned!
