FOC Alliance 7.63XB - Clone Wars part IX
Another video playing the big Clone Wars Galactic Conquest. Curiously, it does not show the zero bytes error. I suspected it. With two factions and the last settings from the mod, a Galactic Conquest with 93 planets can be played without problems.
However from my point of view, it is not too fun. There are a lot of resources for the human player and you can win easily. By this reason, I have made some tweaks lately. By example. Remove the unlimited fighter squadrons from all the stations. They give a great advantage.
Anyway, I prefer a GC with less planets. Where you have less resources and the AI gives you a better fight. From my point of view with the Clone Wars would be better several GC where you follow different stages from the war adding different planets, it would be more fun, the performance would be better and the challenge a lot more fun.
Other changes, some of them not at this video are a change in the scale from the UT-AT, I find it too big comparing to the Episode III images. Some companies will be formed by different units, by example the AT-ATs and the AT-XT are a single company. Now they will be more useful. There will be more things like these.
Other things which I want make, they are some improves in the ground units from CIS and Republic. Many good things can be made.
About other curious things. I would like recomend you visit the place https://reshade.me/ , there are some tools which they can give you better graphics playing your games, specially old games like these. One of these tools is named Reshade but from my point of view, it is a mix from a lot of additional shaders and it is not very good because many of them are useless. However, there is other tool named SweetFX and it has a lot of presets for different games. Lately I have been testing one of them for the old Battlefront II game and it looks good. This tool is a bit manual, not too difficult but do not ask me how it runs. ;) The next video will be playing with it activate. At these last videos, I was playing with the reshade tool and only the ambient occlusion shader. It looks a bit better but the SweetFX tool is a lot better at comparation and more things look better, not only textures.
