With this video, I conclude the small series I started three quarters of a year ago. The first parts were characterized by the fact that I had constantly too little asteroid ice. The speed of the research was mainly influenced by this shortage. If you want to accelerate this, you can use diamonds to eliminate the time of exploration. Otherwise, patience is simply called for. And I had patience, because passing through this age quickly had no advantage as long as the space age Venus did not exist.
I do not really use the production facilities on the asteroid. With the conquest of the second province in the asteroid belt you finally have enough asteroid ice for everything. Only now you hardly need anything anymore as my goods are coming from event buildings. For this reason the settlement on the asteroid looks very neglected. The houses stand there because event quests demanded it. So it's nice if you don't need any space in the city for the construction of residential buildings. The residential buildings bring a lot of credits for the daily exploration of the asteroid ice deposits.
From the military units of the space age asteroid belt I only use the nail storm and the B.E.L.T, i.e. ranged and artillery units. With the other SAAB units I never really got warm and in case of doubt, I continue to use the Mars units. Nail Storm plus rogues is a kind of standard team for everything with me. With always the same team, you can get a high number of battles per minute in GvG and Guild Battlegrounds.
However, if the opponent uses a lot of fast units, I replace the Nailstorm with the Steel Warden, the heavy unit of the Space Age Mars, especially when the attrition is already higher in guild battlegrounds. I also use the Steel Warden in my city defense with good results.
If none of the enemy waves has ranged units or fast units, the artillery of the SAAB age, i.e. the B.E.L.T., is my choice. Especially this lets the final platforms of the guild expedition go easily in automatic battle.
Looking back, I consider the SAAB age to be a bad copy of the space age Mars. For players who are still facing this age, I recommend hoarding enough Mars ore in the Space Age Mars to then quickly pass through the Space Age Asteroid Belt. I think that's the best tip I can give ascending players at this age. Sounds tough, but it's my conviction. May InnoGames succeed in making a better roll with the Age Venus.
