For Honor - Chapter 1.1: Warlords and Cowards
134For Honor is an action fighting game developed by Ubisoft Montreal which details a story of battle and war between three factions namely; the knights, the vikings and the samurai. The story focuses on a warlord called Apollyon whose goal is to bring war and conflict between the said three factions. You, the player, will be using protagonists each from the factions who will be included by the onslaught Apollyon will bring to the lands, whether an ally or foe. With the use of strength, with and siege tactics, win the battles you will be encountering on the way.
A game which had a lot of potential before release but did not reach its expectations at launch. Criticisms were mainly on its multiplayer content which focused on its awful multiplayer service, server issues and the overpriced microtransactions. Other aspects criticized were the generic storyline. However, in terms of gameplay, the game received praise, its fighting mechanic is great, the campaign is great and were made in cinematic quality with great voice acting and how the gameplay of its heroes/warriors are diverse and unique to each other. Personally, I had a lot of fun in the story campaign of the game, however, I also encountered multiple problems from its multiplayer content like connection issues and long time of waiting for joining sessions. Overall, a good but flawed game. Enjoy!
