Ford F-150 Lightning: The Most Important Truck Ever?
The new F-150 Lightning is a jarring and exciting turn for the 120 year old Ford company. The EV of course does not have a typical gas powered combustion engine, but what is under the hood is pretty cool: a huge frunk area similar to something you would find on a Ferrari 458; the only difference is you could fit quite a bit of junk in there. it's also got ergonomic plug outlets for all your portables. The cargo space is massive and well-thought-out with even more outlets to charge anything your heart desires, it is a great place to put things that would normally be a pain to carry with a daily driver pickup truck (e.g.: groceries with kids while it's raining).
Since there is no engine the front grille is much more closed off with a light bar that runs across the top of the hood joining both headlights, it is a bold design, but the entire look of the truck doesn't stray far away from the gas-powered version.
Looking at the key fob, our host pushes the tailgate button and slowly the tailgate starts to lower by itself, buying a pick-up truck doesn't mean the things it used to and this futuristic F150 Lightning is proof of this.
You can go somewhere in style while staying green and towing - this is the way of the future, and when we all end up on the Moon or Mars, this truck will still work.
