Before entering the Forest of No Return, be sure to guide/allure Alaic so you can take care of his quest. This quest involves beating up a bandit who stole Susanna's medicine ingredients. We also learn that Alaic used to be an Obsidian before reforming.

Ellie is at the end of the dungeon, where she's held captive by a giant plant monster.

Unlike me, I recommend getting the Sorcerer class first, since the minions are hard to break otherwise.

The Moldering Ruins near Duskbarrow have two quests: guiding Aslan to his father and beating up a swindler.

In West S'warkii Trail, you can do a quest to save the Impresario from a tiger miniboss. He and Alphas state that Lyblac and Kit are meeting in the ruins of Hornburg, which is coincidentally where the Gate of Finis is found.
