It turns out that my original route with ReimuA doesn't quite translate well to MarisaA, because it relies heavily on the homing to shoot down the orbs in chapter 7C (which you would start from the left or the middle on, using this method). The orbs keep shooting until they leave the screen (from the bottom, no less...) so streaming quickly to catch the gem-carrying orb and accidentally leaving a few alive can be disastrous.

I rerouted the middle section of this stage around 4 times trying to find the safest way through which still collects the gem in chapter 7. Unfortunately, 7A and 7B are somehow even less consistent than 7C.

Eventually I settled on this strat, which takes 6A instead of 6B. I think 6A is slightly more consistent and it allows me to start 7C on the right side of the screen, which seems to work pretty well.

There is a fair bit of extra stuff if you kill the midboss early, and you're better off timing out the midboss non to skip the worst of it. MarisaA can both speedkill the midspell (which can be pretty awful) and deal with the extra fairies that show up afterwards, unlike Reimu, for whom it's safer to stall for an extra wave or so on the spell.
