"Peter Pan and the Pirates" is an NES video game developed by the American studio Equilibrium and published by THQ in 1991. Based on the animated television series of the same name, the game is also known as "Fox's Peter Pan & The Pirates: The Revenge of Captain Hook" and marks THQ's first release.

The plot revolves around Captain Hook challenging Peter Pan to a duel that will determine the fate of the enchanted world. As players take on the role of Pan, they must navigate through several levels, each inspired by episodes from the television series. Along the way, Pan faces off against pirates and avoids various traps, culminating in an epic battle against the villainous Captain Hook aboard his pirate ship.

In each level, players must defeat a specific number of pirates and enemies before progressing further. Wendy and other Lost Boys members occasionally appear, providing helpful advice to aid Pan on his quest. Throughout the game, players can collect fairy dust, allowing Pan to fly, as well as treasure chests and Tinker Bell, which restore his health.

Pan wields a short sword as his primary weapon, but red balls can also be gathered to throw at enemies. The game features bonus levels that offer opportunities to earn extra lives. However, there are no continues or passwords.

Some levels may appear similar but feature slightly different colors. At the end of each level, players encounter Captain Hook, who can be seen pacing back and forth. In the climactic final level, players must outmaneuver Hook to make him walk the plank.

Peter Pan and the Pirates for NES provides an adventure for fans of Peter Pan's timeless story.
