Freespace 2: Destiny of Peace - No Man's Land
8This is the second mission of the Destiny of Peace campaign for the Freespace Port. It is 2335, seven months after the destruction of the Lucifer. We occupy the role of a freshly recruited Terran pilot, assigned to the GTD Nepenthe. The attack on Flagstaff Outpost was accompanied by similar raids on other GTA stations and are believed to be connected to HARC, a radical group opposed to further colonization efforts. This means that convoys carrying personnel to the GTD Destiny, which is spearheading new settlement efforts in the Manda system, are in serious danger. The Destiny has stationed itself near the jump node to Beta Cygni in Manda and deployed sentry guns. We must escort a personnel convoy from the node to the safe zone.
