FTB Infinity Lite #22 - Hydro Plant and Random Things (Modded Minecraft 1.10)
24Automating the production of Treated Wood Planks with Forestry and an RFTools Crafter. I did this for two reasons: First because I wanted to make the crafting step faster and easier, but also because I had lots of barrels with Creosote Oil that I wanted to put into use.
As far as I know I can't use it for anything else (like producing power), so I can build lots of power poles, or water wheels! And except for the Assembler from IE, I don't know of any other way to craft the planks by just piping fluid and planks into the same machine. I know I've seen this before, but it might have been in a mod that's not avaliable in this pack...
Since it took too much time to build a good looking plant outside, I just put everything in the basement for a faster build. I just need to keep track of the power production and transfer rate since I'm using MV almost everywhere right now. I can even expand the hydro plant basement further, but I'll do that offcam.
After a week's offline time I didn't have time to go into advanced projects, so this episode is basically an extension of last episode, but still with some fun builds, I think.
Did you see the glass block I misplaced so the water flooded the area in the end? I didn't even notice until after recording!
