FTB Infinity Lite #27 - UU-Matter, Iridium Replication and More Power (Modded Minecraft 1.10)
33After we set up the nuclear power system we can start with Iridium mass production. And as a bonus I set up the simplest form of I2C power generation.
As you can see, this video is a bit different from the normal videos, and it's becauase we had visitors in the house for five days which meant that I couldn't record how and when I wanted.
IC2 replication is not an advanced process, but it's extremely power hungry! Basically, you need four machines, but a fifth is recommended - the Recycler.
In my system I ended up with 8 Recyclers, and it's still not enough to keep up with the Scrap requirement. This means that I have to use much more energy in the UU-matter process. That is made in the Mass Fabricator.
Next machine required is a Scanner, it will scan a resource and is then saved as a pattern in the Pattern Storage. This pattern is used by the Replicator to produce said resource from power and UU-Matter.
To help the process, I just made a simple Geothermal Generator system that is almost as good as the nuclear power plant, but it won't run forever - only as long as I have lava in The Nether and keep on moving the pump :)
